I am sooo bored………

Distant past…..
Me:Sheesh,this is so boring…when is the damn college gonna open….

And now…….
Me(reflecting back on the distant past):I must have been insane….

It’s not that college life is extremely hard and takes a toll on the normal student’s life completely destroying his will to live.Given the right mental attitude and proper guidance,college life can actually be fun.No,i am not talking about importance of education and its role in securing your future.Even a moron knows that is not the point of studying in an anna universty affilated college.Anna university,governed by Weengineerbraindrain.inc generally manages to filter off all creativity and common sense within the 4 years alloted to them,3 if they are really trying.The only way to get through college life is not being serious about “education” and having as much fun as you can…..

That made it crystal clear,didn’t it now?

It’s not an isolated case or something.Almost all of our teaching staff like that.Those who are not such good teachers spend most of the time preaching ethics and explaining why we youngsters lack creativity and respect.Sources reveal that our very able and ethical(read “naive”) power flow prof thinks we have a tendency to behave like “Dead driven cattle”.Ouch.That hurt.Too bad i was not there when he made that statement.That would seriously changed from my attitude towards life and would have made a better(read “more stupid(if possible)”) person.Anyway,i better go have my food now.Have got a lot to look forward tommorow.See ya.

Hell i missed being in chennai during new year,thanks to my parents i was dragged all the way to trichi to see some goddamn temple(I hate temples being an atheist),why thank you very much……
It’s good to see people taking resolutions left,right and centre…..
Well,I for one have ne’er taken resolutions….
It’s not because i have achieved everything i want in life…….it’s rather because i don’t know where to start….i know one resolution which i am going to take….
I will never resolve to be a better person than i was…..i am not the epitome of virtue.That’s agreed.But i have already gotten rid of habits which don’t make my life any better,for instance i don’t feel the compelling need to tell the truth.I am happy the way i am….

Why fear,when britney is here…..

Someone finally realized that britney sells.This was the intro to the site called Britney’s Guide to Semiconductor Physics.Well,you have got to give it to them.I don’t think anyone else after Feynmann has tried such an innovative way to teach physics.:)

Looks like it has finally come down to using pop stars to get people read physics.One of the signs why humanity is hopeless.Well,you have got to appreciate their attempt eventhough it is quite pathetic…..

Why i ne’er get anything done…..

One serious problem with me is my fetish for appearing(actually “trying to be” would be more appropriate) smarter than other people in their own territory.Now this puts some serious demands on what i need to know inorder to make people think i am smarter than them…

Result:I end up having interests,really WIDE interests.I am interested in everything from bikini supermodels to inner workings of an advanced alien spacecraft.It does take a serious toll on what i actually end up knowing……
The thing is i meet smart people all day(right from my dad down to fellow bloggers) and all of them have varied interests….so me try REAL HARD to keep up with all of then….so i keep jumping from one thing to another and ne’er end up getting anything done…..
On an completely unrelated note,i came across this extremely intersting thingy….called electrostatic motor….Check this link out….
It’s a motor which runs outta electrostatic force instead of electromagnetic force….It produces absluotly useless torque but it isn’t gonna be used to pull standard loads…..
Since it does not have a coil it can be easily fabricated into a silicon waver….which means it just have to produce nuff torque to pull a silicon chip…now that it can….now this means a drastic reduction in size of a robot…thus leading to NANOBOTS!!!!!!!!
shit it is seriously hard work to blog if you are so talented as i am at getting to the point….
for instance..i can summarize this entire blog post in three senteces….
1)I want to be a smartass
2)That means i am way too busy jumping ships to do anything constructive..
3)Electrostatic motors = nanobots
phew….that was hard work!!

An eventful morning….

Guess where i was 6:30 today morning…
I was at the regional transport office….now what was i doing there?…read on

I got my Learner’s license for both car and bike today(Hmm…and this was the guy who used to hide in the closet fearing his first cycling lessons..) after waiting for 2 hours and paying for it too.I can’t wait to start my lessons.All that and my dad promised to get me a bike after i get my license.
Lessons start tommorow morning 6.00 am.Brilliant.Just brilliant.I am usually an early riser(used to wake up at 4:00 am).But it takes vacation to bring out the laziness i inherited from my ancestors.And this vacation has done a damn good job bringing it out of me.All i have done over these few days is eat,read and sleep.bah!!!
Life is getting too routine…which partially explains why i am here.I am here to….oh wait…i am going way off the point.Maybe some other day…
The ironic part here was the guy who gave me a lift all the way from my house to the regional transport office,stood in the queue and got my license didn’t get his license because he didn’t bring his address proof.Well all i could say was “Thanks,mate”
Now essentially the first thing i was informed by the guy who is suppose to teach me when i got the LLR was that i am allowed three “accidents”.I never knew until today that government not only tolerates crime and theft but also gives you license to kill.
So people…submit your hitlists to me.:).
