Someone finally realized that britney sells.This was the intro to the site called Britney’s Guide to Semiconductor Physics.Well,you have got to give it to them.I don’t think anyone else after Feynmann has tried such an innovative way to teach physics.:)
If anybody is wondering about the inner workings of semiconductors here is a picture which explains it all…..

Looks like it has finally come down to using pop stars to get people read physics.One of the signs why humanity is hopeless.Well,you have got to appreciate their attempt eventhough it is quite pathetic…..

You have no idea about innovative teaching in Physics… I suggest go get some book of Godel… Or as always the best book on Physics is Principia… Feynman is more of the basics. May be his third lectures in physics book shows some deep meaning, but its all a cargo cult. Feynman generally contradicts himself. For instance the principle of least action and principle of least time, two concepts closely related to each other are separated by a book. One is in Book 1 and another is in Book 2. The reason being, when you go thro’ both of them, you realize the Cargo Cult theory in them…
Godel’s book is hilarious and also very provocative. He used to be a prof along with Einstein. He was about 36 years younger than Einstein and also the only guy Einstein respected and feared. In Godel’s biography a student says “To sit in Godel’s class was like experiencing the Drill Sargent in the Full Metal Jacket”. To understand the magnitude of the statement, I suggest you go watch the movie Full Metal Jacket by Stanley Kubrick…
Try getting hold of some Michael Brin’s books for basic physics… people tell me, he is the god of micro physics…

and are you sure about the contradiction part….maybe he repeats himselves…
and feynmann gave a lecture against cargo cult science,ironic or what??

Exactly my point. Feynman is the best known example of Cargo Cult Theory and he is also the guy who proposed it. Which explains the contradiction hehe… Apart from that I suggest you read the chapter on relativity and go thro’ his lecture about least action principle… it just is contradiction. If you claim it to be different sets of frame work, then let us assume say for examle: We have a magnetic feild, lets say the components of the magnet are in the x and y direction. Now to find out field strength of the magnet with a dimension, is to reduce it to a point and then apply the formula. But while reducing you always integrate in a pattern. What happens is I take field density into consideration without giving importance to position? This is called the Paradox of linearity. Which Feynman a not so reputed physicist tries to explain in book two but miserably fails.
I could name at least ten other citation in his books, where he falters or contradicts himself.
Most physicists are Mathematicians. Newton was a mathematician. Your integration, differentiation was his works. Godel was really good in mechanics (next to only Newton) and he was the best in Relativity. At first Einstein, came up with relativity. Everyone was amazed. Godel pointed out why it was not true in all cases. Einstein was wild, by this great observation by Godel and then he named it as the special theory of Relativity and then took 3 more years to come up with the generalized theory of relativity. This explains why Godel is god.
